The fire pump is used to ensure adequate pressured water supply to extinguish fire, so it is an integral part of the fire system facility. The failure of a fire pump in the case of a fire can cause great loss. To help ensure the fire pump or supercharger work, regular inspection, repair and inspection of the pump are required.
Weekly
- Fire pump system

- Pump Operation (Diesel) - run test for 30 minutes
Monthly
- Pump Operation (Electric) - run test for 10 minutes
Annual
- Full flow test both diesel or electric pumps
- Fire pump signals
Maintenance
- Service hydraulic systems, mechanical transmission and motor
